Hope Solo

Hope Solo had been sent home from the ABC hit show, Dancing With the Stars.  I have to admit that I tuned in to see Hope.  Hope is a favorite of mine and I hoped that she would show well in the competition.  I truly feel she did a good job.  It cracked me up to hear about the complaints or criticisms that she was given by the judges, “too manly, too strong in the shoulders, etc…”  She is a soccer player who is extremely hot!  Leave the girl alone.

Hope solo outside the dance studio.  She put in what she calls many hours of work each day.  I honestly felt she was trying.  I loved her departing speech where she said…  I’m going to go focus on bringing home another gold medal in the Olympics.

Back doing what she does best… Training for soccer and looking good doing it.Hats off to Hope Solo and her dancing career!Doing a search on the web I found a couple more interesting shots of Hope Solo.  She posed for ESPN magazine and made some very sexy shots.  Take a look.

She's played on the women's national soccer team. She's competed for the Mirror Ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars. Now, the only thing missing in Hope Solo's life is love. And soon, she hopes, that will change, too.

According to's Rick Chandler and NBC Olympics correspondent Matthew Kitchen, the Seattle Sounders goalie revealed in a Web chat on that she is single and ready to mingle. Solo wrote:

I can’t be all soccer—go, go, go, go—I need a social life. I need a life outside of soccer. I very much welcome, you know, new love interests and dating and friends and family. You know, it’s all part of life.
With the Olympics coming up, however, it's unclear when Solo will have time for dating, which seems to pale in comparison to a quest for a gold medal on her list of priorities.

Plus, according to Kitchen, playing on the US team and on the Sounders aren't the only activities that occupy Solo on a daily basis. She also serves as a spokesperson for Unilever beauty products, has posed on the cover of ESPN The Magazine and, as you may have noticed, films TV spots for Gatorade.Still, Solo has endured her fair share of proposals—of many kinds. When she appeared on the cover of ESPN's annual Body Issue, the 30-year-old said:

I've had marriage proposals, invitations to military balls and even a few prom offers from 18-year-old boys. In New York City after the World Cup, this kid literally got on his knees in the middle of the street and asked me to prom. ... I told him he could ask me again in 10 years. Apparently, those proposals and invitations haven't quite been enough. Such is the dilemma of a world-famous professional athlete.

Life is about more than corporate sponsorships, gold medals and sparkly dancing trophies, as Solo has doubtlessly found. Perhaps once the Olympics are over, she can start focusing on more pedestrian endeavors. And maybe once Emily Maynard's quest for love has ended ... The Bachlelorette producers, are you listening?
